By booking a service with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided
Goondiwindi Computer Repairs offers diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair services for computers, network devices, electronic devices, and printed circuit boards (PCBs), including but not limited to:

Hardware and software troubleshooting

Virus and malware removal

Hard drive replacements and SSD upgrades
-
Laptop battery, screen, and peripheral replacements
-
Printer setup and troubleshooting
-
Custom-built PCs
-
Advanced component-level PCB repairs, including short-circuit diagnostics and component replacement (where viable)
*Not all devices or faults are repairable or economically viable. All services are provided on a best‑effort basis following assessment.
2. On‑Site Service & Travel Fees
We provide on‑site repair services in Goondiwindi and surrounding areas. If you are located outside the Goondiwindi township, a travel fee will apply. The exact fee will be communicated and agreed upon prior to the appointment.
3. No Fix, No Fee Guarantee

If we are unable to resolve the reported issue, no labour charges will apply.

If a partial repair, workaround, or alternative solution is provided, a service fee may still apply.

For interstate customers, if a repair is unsuccessful, no labour charges apply and the customer is only responsible for shipping costs of component both ways.
4. Service Warranty

We guarantee our workmanship for 90 days from the service completion date.

If the same fault reoccurs within this period, we will reassess and attempt to resolve it at no additional labour cost.

This warranty does not cover:

New or unrelated faults
-
Accidental or physical damage
-
Liquid ingress, corrosion, fire, or lightning damage
-
Software issues caused by malware, updates, or user actions after service
-
Devices previously modified or repaired by a third party
-
5. Payment Terms

Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept cash, bank transfer, and PayID.

Ownership of supplied parts remains with Goondiwindi Computer Repairs until full payment is received.
6. Data & Liability Disclaimer

Customers are strongly advised to back up all important data prior to service.

While every reasonable precaution is taken, we are not responsible for data loss, corruption, or software issues occurring before, during, or after repairs.

Data recovery is not guaranteed and, if requested, may incur additional charges.
7. Advanced Electronics & PCB Repair Limitations
By engaging us for advanced electronics or PCB repairs, you acknowledge that:

Repairs are performed on a best‑effort basis and success is not guaranteed.

Devices with severe corrosion, fire damage, lightning strike damage, or catastrophic electrical failure may be deemed non‑repairable.

Replacement components may be unavailable, obsolete, or uneconomical.

Functional repair does not guarantee long‑term reliability of ageing electronics.
-
Cosmetic damage and pre‑existing faults unrelated to the reported issue are excluded.
8. Third‑Party Software & Licensing

Clients are responsible for ensuring all installed software is properly licensed.

We will not install, activate, or support unlicensed or pirated software.
9. Equipment Handling & Ownership

Devices left with us must be collected within 30 days of repair completion or repair notification.

Unclaimed devices may be sold or disposed of to recover costs.
-
Proof of ownership may be required before commencing repairs.
10. Limitation of Liability
Goondiwindi Computer Repairs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of data, business, income, or profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service performed.
11. Cancellations & Rescheduling

At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
